Hi Gary Black isn't the colour I want but thanks for the offer, yes hassen your old rims time for the next change! So 18" it is now best place to buy?

Depends on how and where you use the car.

Personally I prefer 17"s, which have at least a 45 ratio sidewall, because of the poor roads where I live.
Actually changed from 18s to 17s on the Audi after damaging some tyres/wheels on potholes.

If you are mainly on motorways, and other well surfaced roads, than a 40 aspect ratio sidewall commonly used in 18" fitment should be fine.

Looks-wise the it is totally subjective... horses for courses.... but... keep in mind that a 225/45/17 and an 225/40/18 have almost the same rolling circumference (less than 0.5% bigger = approx 1.5mm larger), so strictly speaking both "fill out the same". The 18" would be a little wider (about 12mm wider, so 12/2=6mm closer to the wing if using the correct off set) as the 225 is a percentage aspect ratio on the 18" (as is the sidewall measurement).

Similar thought process with me and kept 17s. Also, good 17 tyres are cheaper than 18s. All factors to consider [emoji106]

If he has 17 sti wheels he can keep those for a daily driving and get 18 for when the OP likes to feel fancy :54:

Im leaning towards 18s I don't drive the car often weekends would be about it even at that I wouldn't be going far

18's for sure. I need to go lower on my Blob.

I’ve a spare set of 18s if you wanna try ppf7s but they aren’t for sale revs probably will as I am thinking of going to get a set of turins missed out on a set recently you can try over a weekend but every one is nearly running 18 so should be no hassle
Offer is there [emoji106]
