Rear diff bushings

According to.other forums, it's support the diff, unbolt the 2 large bolts to release the banana shaped support and remove the old bushings, no press involved ????

Oh yeah the hawk would be different,
I’d imagine a press would be easier to push out the bush complete with outer metal ring

If the bushes haven't been done before they will need to be pressed out but not a big deal as the bracket should come down easy enough see pics

Current bushes are totally shot so they should just fall out when tilted lol

Just take out early in morning and if you can’t get them out or in bring to a local garage with a bearing press should be able to sort you out if if stuck

Yeah rubber will fly out if fcuked... but it’s the metal casing they live in is the
Issue.
That has to come out to male way for new ones.
I’ve often used a hack saw to make a fine incision in old metal bush casing, then gentle chisel action to remove.
Normally a press or correct sleeve in a big vice can move them.

Then sand down smooth and press new ones back in.

Press sometimes is not needed if a big vice and correct “pressing tools” are at hand.
