STI Widetrack Gearbox oil & Diff Oil

    Hi Lads,

Can anyone let me know the correct grade oil / quantities required for the Gearbox & Diff Oil of a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Widetrack, stock car.

Looking to change mine shortly as i dont know if it has been changed before / last changed.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Any issue changing rear diff oil on an 05 with the sensor compared to an 04 or just belt away.

No Eoin. AFAIK You need the same oil for front and back. The widetrack models have limited slip differential that require different oil

As Kieran said above Opie oils. I spoke to Tim from Opie and l followed his recommendations. You can ring them and give them your model and spec and they will advice. Also they have set prices on postage based on weight so you can stock up within the weight limits
