Clutch Recommendations

I have notified recently that clutch is slipping ever so slightly in 4 th and 5 th gear when on full boost at 3500-4500 rpm, on the way out I presume, suprised it hasn't gone sooner after the summer it had,????

I know nothing about clutches , read a few of the threads here and on line,

Car is 290 ish bhp and will probably go de cat soon so around 300 bhp will be target power wise, driven every weekend, town and very spirited driving

So is Pink Excedy clutch kit the best option, skim flywheel etc ,?

What's the ball park figure all in for clutch kit, Labour etc 700 Euro

thanks

I have the pink excedy clutch fitted about 3 years now and Impressed with it and I’m running just over 300 bhp. Would recommend it anyway

350 for pink box exedy clutch kit
50 flywheel skim
45 rear crank Seal and pinion bearing subaru
50 gearbox oil
+ labour
750/800 I'd say

Exedy are a good clutch kit I put the standard blue box in the legacy. But the pink would be better if going with 300bhp and over

talk to sc86 here he does clutchs might do a better price

Blue Box just gone into mine feels great

Joe put same in his 95 series 2 little while ago drive spot on

Blue fastory, pink uprated. I think tommy change his recent enough he may know what it cost :54:

If going for a pink make sure it the anti judder one .
Cost a little more but worth it , sc wouldn’t supply a part number to check so I bought from Ali Burrows in the end .

havnt sold pink box exedy in years - to much hassle selling racing clutch from know it alls
its a area i have decided to avoid totally and delighted a did
i stick to normal everyday cars - much less hassle

i sell blue box oe exedy only
i had a type r on a blue box exedy with 330bhp no problem
but i didnt do track days - just spirited road driving
if you want pink box then stick to organic
dont fit a paddle kit on a road car it will drive you mad
