Carbon Bonnet

My carbon bonnet is looking fairly dull and rubbish. Anyone have any tips for getting it back to it's glossy form? I messaged an Irish detailing retailer who said I can just use whatever I use on the paintwork... Clearly not the case:
I tried a bit of Super resin polish and it left a dull white mark which doesn't want to come off:banghead: I don't have a DA polisher but I'm thinking about it....

Some APC removed the worst of that mark. There isn't any lacquer peal on it, so surely there's no need to re lacquer?

I think they machine and relaquer to get the shine back.

From my own experience of fibre glass and carbon film resin coats the top coat is everything i.e. Lacquer you can't polish carbon only lacquer be careful not to tear strand in carbon by sanding if I was you I would get the bonnet relacqured and polish that I am sure when it's wet it looks shiny
