Lad u works for me is thinking about it so I'll see what happens apart from this van is pretty good serviced every 10/15 km which is rare with vans in this country

Thing about genuine parts that most don't know is they have a two year warranty.
Once you have the invoice and the part sh1ts itself within the the two years it's covered by the dealer.

New part and labour all covered.
I use genuine parts for this reason as it saves me doing the job again.
 
780 for part I would buy it if it would defo solve it is there any play in vw part I know it's not a new van by any means but don't like having all these niggles

Right so put this back in this morning defo play in new stub shaft so had idea to plug end of shaft and filled full of grease clunk is gone can't believe it so new shaft ordered from drive shaft services he said no play in any parts for smoothness it's one of the most common type sold there anyway thank fook it's only a matter of time grease will run out so at least ain't anything big
