Alloy wheels for a 2004 Subaru Impreza Wrx Wagon

Hi all.

I been thinking about a set of alloy wheels for my car since I bought it. The current 17" STI gold ones are grand but for me, nothing to shout about. I been looking up JR wheels and their fitments. For the wheel connaisseurs out here, will a 17", offset 35, width 7.5 from JR wheels fit onto my 2004 blob wagon? I have the car lowered on Eibach Pro Kit springs at the moment and it doesn't sit crazy low and saloon front wings are going to be fitted soon as well. My main concern is rubbing and poking away from the wheel arch.

The wheels I was looking at are the JR5 in Matt Bronze.

Japan Racing JR5 are what I was looking for. The fitment is wrong in the picture as I would be looking at 5x100, 17", 7.5 width to fit my current tyres and offset 35 which they only one they come into.

I don't see a reason why they won't fit under the arches. 7.5 is skinny enough. Offset is a bit low make sure it will go over the brake calipers. They won't be exactly like the one on the photo as this one looks wide and has a big lip. This is a timeless style and my all time favorite (volk ce28n). I had them in the form of the other copy - rota fighter. You can see some photos in my thread. Also Rays made them for s202 where they were 17x7.5 but with +53 offset. :54:

black car, white wheels,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, looked well on that blob at last meet .

if only u knew someone with white wheels :)

I saw them on Chris's Integra and then pictures of yours. I was sold on the bronze! Looks really well I think on yours. What did you replace it with?

What else btw do I need to buy with the wheels to make them fit? It comes with nothing.

Haha I see what you doing there. White wheels would look class but I think they would be hard to keep clean and I barely clean the car as it is. Hoping that the matt bronze will hide dirt better lol

I replace them with those that l have for sale now. At the moment lm with stock sti but they wont fit your as 5x114.

Spiggot rings potentially to fit subaru hub which is 56.1 if lm correct and a prayer that they will clear your brakes. Subaru 4pots are not as chunky as brembo, but then again they are lower offset. Look at the s202 with et 53 they barely fit over brembo. Spacers are always an option if you are willing to run them:

Nice and rare. They are s202 wheels made by Rays for Sti. They are 17x7.5 +53 and 5x100 only Keith. There was a set in Ireland on a black bug wrx jdm few years back.

Haha now we can get talking. Love the revs on the classics too. Rally heritage and all. I want something a bit more modern and totally fell for the design I posted. I had seen a pic of the s202 but that's completely out of reach. Plus, my car a daily driven, family ferrying and occasional hooning mobile. So, the replica will do me nicely. Along with the saloon wing and winglets planned for the car, it should all tie in nicely visually imho.
