selling advice

so mother is getting her new car this evening.. looking for advice what do do with old car around tax.

was going to stick it on donedeal for a few hyndred, but tax is out since end of February, can i sell.as is and new owner will have to pay tax. any advice appreciated

btw car is a 2003 nissan tino, 1.8 petrol.with 79k miles. its using oil, no leaks so i.assume it's burning it. im hoping to sell.for a few hundred euro but no.clue really what it's worth
 
Yes can sell as is.

New owner doesnt have to pay any back tax.

car sold to buyer in Northern Ireland so will try to claim some vrt back. easy sale transaction

fellah who delivered new car bought for a snip, morher couldn't wait to get shot of it.

didnt realise car needed to be presented before export.. no vrt back so..
