Disaster that the VRT is gone so high. Better buy one before they go any higher I think.

i bought a r32 gtr
when i bought it in auction vrt was 2200
by the time it was at vrt centre it was up to 3700
i nearly got sick

Don't forget to appeal all vrt charges you will get some back.

Don't forget to appeal, the RS was 6k ish before brexit happened

When it went to clear it was 9k ish, fooking stunned,but appealed and got over 2k back

There still dragging the heals over the P1, 6 months and countless letters to them (all registered post
And copies of each letter and info)

Country a fooking joke !!!
 
p1 was 970 to vrt about 18 months ago if not less


i went to vrt my version 11 sti ra last month
was 960 - went back to next day to pay it and it jumped to 1370
i was sick

they upped the cost of every gc8 model accross the bord that night
stupid fcuks have a sti ra at 1370 but a normall version 11 is dearer at 1600
clowns - but they are only value a ra model at 4900 when really its double so vrt could go up alot more yet

According the vrt,it cost 2k to buy a P1, which is utter bull to start with.

If fighting it and not taking a few hundred of them thieving c**ts. My right to fight for what's mine

If you have proof of the price of a P1 now you might get them to look st their value. But what you originally paid on the vrt won't be a considering factor..do they take €300 quid or something for the pleasure of doing the vrt rebate?

Ken,I have all the paperwork from when I bought,and part ex cost aswell of what there going for now.including pics and prices
Prices are going up and longer they keep fooking about the better it is for me
They have everything and have multiple copies. They take the money out when you do the refund €250 is the cost

if you try vrt a p1 now its not 9k so why would they refund 9k

dont mean to be blunt but iv saw countless lads export and claim vrt back expecting huge sums

if you theory was correct then my mates dads 01 clk500 that was 100k when he bought it new
thats sat on his driveway for last 2 years because nobody will buy it!
he could export it and look for what 20 /25k vrt mayby more back?
sure if that was the case there would be mayhem

Currently no, and probably not even if I get a type R. too much poured into it which I wont get back and is something that wont really cost me to keep. If I get type r in next few weeks or months it wont be going straight on road.
With a type r being an appreciating classic it'll be good to have the wagon to mod and enjoy without being afraid of it.
Might set the wagon down a different path maybe.
