New 555 WRX BUG EYE

Hi there lads.
So the three weeks i sold my 1.6 hawkeye and after a couple of days searching i have found my perfect match.
its a 2001 WRX Impreza with the last numbers on the plate being 555. I'm now the 15th owner of this car and i know shes no show piece but i would like to find out more information about this car. There is still a bit of work to be done to get her back up to power (exhaust gasket leak) + a few other thing like a misfire which was not fixed after full service. If anyone has some knowledge and wisdom please let me know as this car is very rare with its plate and i really want to hold onto her for years to come.

Also i'm looking to swap my headlights for standard original 1's so if your interested let me know. Sorry to Admin if im stepping out of bounds with this post, im still learning the form.

I think that was a club car a good few years ago
Can't remember the lads name.....I'm sure someone will be along with more info think he was from down around Tommy 555 around arklow
 
Welcome a long,

I can give you a contact for a set of standard bug lights, do not go ahead and do a straight swap, you have moretta headlights which is worth 3 times as much as standard (last set i saw was around 250 sold). ill pm you the contacts number he can send them down tomorrow. they will not cost much.

KenC owned it from memory.
Been through a lot of hands.
We supplied some tgv parts for it recently.

Did you buy it from claremorris seen it or one just like it parked up outside a garage there was sitting in same spot every time I was there but don't know if getting work done or owner worked there

Yes I did buy it in Clairmorris. The owner seemed like an odd charactor having no insurance for it ect, you hardly know the name of the garage or have a number for them as I want to find out any work that was previously done.

About 2005 my friend owned it and he done all the engine mods and it made good power.

I've a perfect set of bug oe headlights there swap or sell.

Not off hand but I'll try get it for you next time I'm covering that area
 
Nice car and love the colour.
Would love to see it photoshopped with the intercooler in black with smoked indicators
 
I also think those lights are spot on but you should whatever makes you happy - its your car. :54:
