Someone will be killed

Stupid disruption to traffic flow at those speeds and totally unsafe practice making a very safe bit of road extremely dangerous

Very dangerous game the garda playing there

Seen it over and over the general public don't pay attention when there's a sudden unexpected slow or accident and causes follow on smashes.

By all means if someone driving badly follow em off and stop them without putting lots of people at high risk including the garda

@Pedro - dont get me wrong Im not on a holly crusade against the cops. And when I do generalize I mean garda as a unit not every single person in it. Ideally gardas are paid by the people to protect the people not by the government, banks, irish water etc. to protect corporate interests. Lets say you are a cop - how would you feel if tomorrow you are sent to help the Sheriff(sorry Eanna) to reposes you parents house in the name of the bank that put your parent into this position on the first place? or while your wife and kids are being threatened in your own house the cops were busy testing tint on car windows?!?!? What grinds my gears is when they insult my intelligence by trying to convince me that the simple tax collecting exercises are actually for my own good/benefit/safety,
What annoys me is how the unit original purpose was diverted with their SILENT CONSENT... to a point that I was talking to at least 3-4 young lads saying that they will try for the academy in Templemore as is secure and cushy job :O
Anyway to get to the specific case - did they not remove the tolls on the first place so it wont obstruct the traffic, so they can now ... obstruct the traffic. Here in Clonmel the same - tax check point at 8-9 in the morning in the busiest traffic when all people WITH WORK are trying to get to work partially for the reason to be able to pay their tax, instead lest say during the day in low traffic time?

We will agree to disagree Tommy????, I'll try and give you a different perspective some day over coffee at a meet????

Best thing about being a cop here is early retirement with a nice lump sum. Then on to pension and another job. About as good as it gets. In fairness most are fair to deal with.

Right enough politics on the weekend. lets get back on topic.

VIDEO: Japan’s best drivers compete in Japan’s slowest car

The brilliant thing about Best Motoring is that one day you get an epic AE86 track battle, and the next day you get antics rivaling 2002-era Top Gear in silliness. Take this 1996 episode, for example. Daihatsu had just resurrected the Midget II delivery truck, a bug-eyed, 31-horsepower kei pickup offered mostly in green. Still, it was quite a technological leap from the Midget I, which had only three wheels. Best Motoring then raided the local Daihatsu dealer and put Japan’s top drivers in a flock of them.

10 Things You Didn’t Know About Time Attack

http://www.worldtimeattack.com/index.php/things-you-didnt-know-about-time-attack/

6. CyberEvo came very close to posting a DNF in 2010.

It’s a little known fact that Cyber Evo blew their engine on Day 1 of 2010 WTAC. With limited spares and manpower the crew considered calling it quits but at the last minuted decided to go on. The Cyber team worked right through the night rebuilding the engine with a second hand cylinder head they borrowed from Notaras Racing and had the car ready for the 2nd session on Day 2. They went on to win the event and set a new lap record.
