Yours is goona look serious Tom, yeah tempted to look into the prodrive bumper now, but mapping and suspension first, plus front brakes are starting to scream at very low speed breaking so thats on the list too.

thankls lads ,it is also my favourite pic and as colm said it has gotten all around the planet . all betting is off . it was in fact wrx ian that took this at the almc show . (best display of isdc and subaru cars in ireland to date imo ) .

dave , prodrive bumpers dont come up that often so if available id jump at the chance tbh

also liking the wider look . hmmmmmmmmmm :icon_biggrin:

If us fit them wide archs do you just cut away the old ones
Any pics of the body work before the new arch is fitted
Don't think I'd be into hacking up the car but it looks well

I know and now Dave and Gordon are both selling them, id love one completely change the front of the car, just the time of year man I'm not flush with cash, but I am only using one of my kidneys................

Keith you have to butcher the arches. Front is not bad because potentially you can always get new oem arches if you dont like it but its not the same with the rear. once you chop the rear its never going back. Im very tempted but this is what puts me off.
I looked into it. They are usually two types bond on or screw on. But I personally do not like either of them as I prefer smoothed look as it was always part of the car. The other thing is that most of the kits dont have cut off in front where the bumper meets the arch and if you need to remove the bumper you need to remove the arch extensions first. The other option is the wrc kit where you completely replace the front arches with wider one, but rear is still butchering job - ones done right could looks good.
So far from good bit of digging the only nice looking result with smoothed arches that I like is this one. And Im very tempted. Alot involved but I think it looks the business:

I know a man on here getting it done at present and it's costing him €1100 just to get the arches an wings cut re welded treated sealed and sprayed and fit the wide arches that's not including buying the arches

also considered/toyedwith idea of arching but couldnt bring myself to let someone take angle grinder to quarter's . set of spacers should scratch my itch for a while . now lets go look at some wheels ,and eveerything else newage for sale on here this morning

Looks savage so aggressive

Depends on the wheels you go for and how low you have it to pull the look off needs to be on its hole to look egresive
