They were in donegal the wkend of the rally recording king of the cone so you can imagine.

The idiot in the video below that is standing in the middle of the road with the two cars about to dice is an absolute muppet and is an example of why people have a bad opinion on modified/performance cars.

I have watched a couple of other episodes in this series reality bites and so far it has given a good insight into some subcultures in Ireland like dangerous dogs and horses road racing.
 
I say have a shot every time an Altezza hits the limiter or every time someone does a donut in a crossroad at 2AM.
 
I think if RTE were to have only shown the good side of the car world like cars and coffee etc. I don't think it would have got half as many viewers as showing the bad side of it like diffing etc. People outside the car world have no interest in seeing the good side but they will enjoy watching the bad side of it which will live up to that boy racer stereotype people have!
 
Pity the organised Cavan meet was let down by one guy. Girl at the end really got a great point across. Think her name is Nikky Hayes, she used to have an S14.

It's the same bulshit that has been pedalled by anyone in the media who has ever done a piece on the car scene. It's been like that as long as I'm in the scene that's 22 years. It's never goin to change, even now I still get the have ya not grown out of that yet. They always show the gobshites in the sh*t boxes never the actual enthusiasts of the car scene
