vibration in pedals and steering wheel

Thanks Keith will look into those. I don't mind paying money for good parts.

Baz as said I didn't know anything about spacers let alone different grades off them. I was told it was to give the front wheel a wider appearance so it suits the rears so I went with it. At least from this I have a better understanding about them.

I brought it up to the lads that balanced the wheels/ checked over the suspension about seeing could I try them without the spacers. They told me on full look the wheels will rub so that's why the spacers were put on to give it that little bit of clearance. If they are the correct offset for my car I am under the impression this shouldn't be the case

Best is of course to have the right wheel for the application.

Sometimes that is not possible though...
Had H&R spacers on my winter steelies to make sure they'd clear the brakes on the A4 3.0Tdi (couldn't get steelies which would clear the brakes)... worked very well and never any bother (make sure you copper grease both sides of the spacer to ensure they don't corrode and get stuck on). The H&R have spigot / centre ring for the hub wheel alignment. Not too dear either. Got mine in Blach at alloy-wheels.ie.
