Yeah Phil, went down to G&P. He said if I can get the parts from the dealer here in Oranmore he will fix it and labour with be around 80 quid. Mentioned your name and he knew you straight away, thanks.
 
Tread carefully when pricing. The cheapest isn't always the best . I couldn't see how he could paint and fit a bumper for €80 . It's a days work. Paint and Sundries would be €150 plus vat too.
Your first estimate doesn't seem to show paint costs.
Maybe the bumper comes painted from the manufacturer like Honda.
There's no shortcuts when painting plastics either.

I have one more place to get a quote from. I don't think it needs a respray. The clip is just snapped off where the bumper meets the liner. I just need it fixed before Japfest at least. Being 21, I don't exactly have the means to fork out the odd couple hundred.

Then again, you can't cheap out in a Subaru too much. If this place is good enough for a P1, it should be grand for a RX.:thumbsup:
