Wrap

If it wasn't a Ltd edition I'd spray it
carstyle are giving a 3 years warranty with all there wraps
I know a few lads who have them a good few years now with no problem

Think that one on dd in Matt is a member's car
Im with the lads above. Dont do it.

after was chatting with you had a real close look at carstyles blue audi.

If thats their demo car. The wrap is really badly applied. I mean as demo should be flawless job. It wasnt.

There was a hatch at Autosport international that was wrapped aswell
And it was a demo for wrapping a white one
I wasn't impressed with that either
where doors and wings meet etc and a pillar
I'm guessing there all like that

You just can't beat paint
but you can't paint a wr1

Only reason I'm wrapping it is so I can go back to the original colour if anything it will keep the paint fresh
I love the car it's clean and low miles I just need a colour change
my old type r could be coming up for sale soon I got a mad out of the blue phone call the other day about it
but I need a 4 door as I bring the kids in it so I think type r is out for now.

Has he put much mileage on it since? How long has it been since you sold that?

this is what I was thinking Gray gloss

Must be 4 years and he had put up 1000 miles since then lol

I have seen some very good looking black matts, and then I have seen loads of shitty looking ones...

I seen the demo car and the bits that had started to go and I asked him about it his answer was if anything like that happens it's covered under warranty for 3 years

I 100% agree the demo car should have been flawless

I think you should go with it if it's what you want Keith. However, I'd be firm about any niggle bits like the blemishes etc on their demo car. I wouldn't accept it on my own car after paying someone to carry out the work so if yours ended up like that demand it be fixed 100% or just whip the stuff off and get money back.

Plastidip is also another option.

Would 100% go for it Keith, basically getting a new car for 1500quid and when you're finished with it, just whip it off and you're left with an immaculate limited edition to sell at a premium.

spotted a matt black a4 estate today christ it looked shocking, think the matt colours should be left to the guys on youtube with the supercars...

If it's not 100% it will be coming off deffo
at the end of the day if it is crap it can be whipped off

Yea the Matt looks shocking
if you can afford a Lamborghini you can afford to experiment with colours

There was a few matt black Aventators at Goodwood and was following one on motorway for a while too gotta say they looked savage but think they might have been a matt paint rather than wrap like the BMW "Frozen" paint.
