Need a new exhaust for the car. Any ideas lads?

If you cannot get a sports cat downpipe for the twin scroll could always get a de-cat pipe / system you like and then get Souhan's to cut and weld in an universal 200 cell sports cat. Also found that some like H&S and Cobra will not show all they do on their site and when you ring them they can do something like the above on special order. Hope that helps.

Has me lost.
No idea what's needed or what will fit? Can't get any straight answers from sellers on eBay or the likes.

I think I will have to go de cat route and try get a complete system from one manufacturer.
The minute twin scroll is mentioned they all run for he hills!

Standard response is "it will fit original factory cat" after telling them I don't have a standard cat before :wall:
Hate messing with this type of sh*t and I just want a simple bolt on system to suit.

The search continues.....

Drop up one day and will take a look

Thank you all for your help

Got some answers today.

It's looking like I need to get a H&S de-cat down pipe to suit Nur Spec R system.
800pounds + delivery.....

Has to be done as I'm not into cutting and getting flanges made up.
Bolt on out of the box is what I like, no messing

Graham, For that money I guess that includes a 200 cell sports cat?

(they can fit one if you ask them - know this from experience)

Bolt on is not out window.

And i would highly advise against h&s twin scroll downpipe

£800 for a de-cat downpipe? :eek7:

Was that directly from Hayward&Scott (prices on their site are way lower - see £228 for twin-scroll de-cat down pipe on there)?

Advantage of the cat is easy NCT (no messing with changing exhausts).
Won't cost you significant power (maybe 5-8bhp), but would need to be mapped that way though.
Adding a sports cat seems to be between £130-300 dearer depending which brand / manufacturer.

Sorry, didn't see it included the Blitz Nur Spec R full system... took you meant it was only de-cat downpipe to connect to Blitz.
With the Blitz full system included nothing wrong with that price! :icon_lol:

Seems decent I think, I've been doing loads of homework on it the last week.
570pounds is the going rate for Nur spec r cat back.

Money waiting to buy but can't wait too long.
Want car right ASAP.

The fit is disgraceful.

If going that road then rcm or milltek downpipe and centre section.

And then choose any 3inch flange backbox you want.

:plusone:

Had problems with fit and finish last time I ordered from H&S as well - not anywhere near the quality stuff from the early days for the classics. Ended up having to get my centre pipe cut and welded to be able to fit it. They did offer to do it for me if I shipped it back, but as it was the day before my mapping session that was not an option. Got a local shop to do it and cost me only €15, but for the prices H&S charge should not have been needed to make any changes.
