Boiler not working ....

If it is the burner that's gone there is a guy who re conditions them on adverts as spanking new there not cheap . Might still have his number if he ain't on adverts still
 
Did it run out of oil?
Might need bleeding. Some people shouldn't be allowed near a boost button on a time clock let alone burners as they try bleed it with the pressure screw on the oil pump which fucks everything up.
If your sure it been bled correctly,Try cleaning the photocell .

No got oil last week. I'll give cleaning the photo cell a go when I get home after work

No I never let the tank run low. It's been a gradual death over two days. She's not air locked

When you turn it on do you hear the fan turning for about 10secs then knocks off?

Check the photocell anyway
 
I know I work on them for a living .
Possible Photocell needs cleaning or replacing if that doesn't sort it , the control box is faulty

Most likely the control box
