Track day car

Will you stay in future classic or move to ittc

I will stay involved with Future Classics as part of the crew looking after website and Facebook. But this car will be too fast now,if there is a good grid and depending on the regs I could see myself in Itcc production class this year.Im really hoping this car will be capable of 1:05, and maybe 1:04,s but time will tell man[emoji106]

New switch panel made this evening from 1.2mm aluminium.Over 2 hours at this small job. Also picked up a battery box today but now I'll be selling that as I'm going with a smaller race battery setup.

This is the new plan.
It's lighter and safer I guess.

I have been tipping away doing some small bits over the past week but just not getting the time I'd like to have.Im still waiting on the clock and some more switches but I have started fitting what I have.

I was trying to figure out how best to mount the ECU and relays, and as I'm an electrician I decided to fit everything into weather proof boxs.Id hate to destroy the ecu if I ever was unlucky enough to need the fire extinguisher or get a bad leak.Ill be running all wiring in 16mm copex and to keep it neat as possible.

Another little progress update, big thanks to Dec for coming down last Friday evening to lend a hand getting some wiring done.We did get pretty much all the engine bay wired apart from some lights and abs.

Wiring inside still needs to be finished but it's coming along well.On Friday night I finished the switch panel,so I just have to finish everything in the relay box and then wire the dash.

Under the bonnet we will be fitting a charge/jump point as the battery will be relocated inside behind the passenger foot rest.

When we were over at the Autosport show at the weekend i picked up two nice little Racetech wing mirrors. The plan is to make carbon fibre base plates and bolt the mirrors through.

So over the next few weeks there will have to be a big push towards finishing the wiring and also getting the gearbox back together.Only when this is done I can fire the engine for the first time since October.
