Track day car

Hi lads just starting a little blog on my first track car project just picked it up today
2001 saxo vts 1600 16v 62000 miles on the clock it came in from England last year.
Mods on it already are uprated comp clutch'light weight flywheel induction kit,4-2-1 supersprint manifold and supersprint straight through to kamracing back box.
I got a set if 306 gti discs and callipers
With the car so I have started on them today.
I have a lot of work to do over the winter so all help and tips welcome.The weight loss program has already started this evening and got one side of my brakes done before love hate started:)
I have some pics and will update more as I progress.

First day home no work done .

was looking at this on done deal the last while looked like sone car for the money with some nice extras and spares
 
Very nice man wish I had the space to take something like this on
had a vtr 8 valve great little car
have a 106 gti same engine as yours great crack to drive
Keep us posted on what you do

Ya ya couldn't go wrong for the money'long drive with a trailer and van 8 hour round trip starting a 6:00 this morning but well worth it can't wait until she is track ready:)

Will do Keith I was looking for a 106 or VTS i would have been happy with either when I seen the saxo I could not pass it..

Sound Dec call over some evening give me your 50 cent"that Little Ka will haunt me in mondello:)
I will need your advice on the suspension for a start and if ya see any seats and harness knocking around link them on[emoji106][emoji106]

No she has pucks of power Gordon just suspension brakes seats cage tyres some stickers and paint here and there and she is good but they don't all need to be done yet'all in good time:)

Original spare wheel looks like it didn't get much use,don't need that so out it came:)

Back axel is a weak point on them bearings go
just put a new one in some differences it makes
there was one at the track day it was flying the 2 lads were out non-stop in it and it never missed a beat.

I'll take a look at that Keith would you recommend new axel or just doing the bearings?
