anyone here work with glass?
looking to get a glass banister/ handrail made for a stairs.

Just looking for clear 12mm man .

What way are you planning on fixing it ?

What's the sizes of the units .

It's Deffo not cheap . Could get ya price on it for sure but it's special order stuff

@Tommy

i intend fixing them to the oak threads, 2 fixings through the glass per thread.
something like this.

i was told it had to be 12mm min due to only fixing at the bottom of the glass, not up on glass myself just taking their word for it.

Nice one. Split level nice in the hall aswell. Stairs will look well with the stone. Best of luck with it fine house your into the expensive work now.

Very nice seanie :clap: . 1 piece of advice unless your upstairs is finished and you can close off the stairs don't put on the oak threads as they will get destroyed even if there covered . I know you looking to get the Glass handrail measured and fitted but buy 5 lengths of 9x2 and Screw them on till the week before you move :thumbsup:

Good Advice there Joe .been to so many jobs where you see expensive items fooked due to lads not taking care

thanks for the advice joe. unfortunately the upstairs is not finished.
steps are on for glass measurement then are going to be removed until upstairs is finished.

Looks fantastic man great work

Cheers the stairs is holding up the galvanise roof.
Now that the stairs is done and the missus is off my back time to start the garage :banana:
