forester 2.5xt upgrades

Hi people I'm looking at a clean 07 forester with 74,000km on it,I was just wondering war sort of safe figures I could get out of it with spending around 3 grand on modifications

The budget is absolute realistic for very nice mods and power upgrades
Is it auto or manual.

It will all be at mercy of how long head gasket issues hang in there.

It's manual,is there head gasket issues? Anything to remedy this want something with decent power but reliable

2.5 subarus turbo and non turbo are prone to this.

With or without the power upgrade.

Its a sort of cross bridge when come to it type thing.

Or spend a lump to prevent an issue that hasnt happened yet.

I've a set of sti shocks there for sale, easily get you 30-40 bhp extra if you wanted!!
