We rented a house in Trabolgan this year.Great facilities for the kids, great spot. Food is a bit dear but self catering so ya don't have to eat out every night. Great entertainment at night too, good shows etc...

Mulranny Westport last year joe rented a big house 2km from the small town for 350 for 7 days very near the great western green way (bike track that runs for 75km from achill to Westport )

Also went out with David from wave sweeper adventures again leaving from blacksod pier fishing hiking and cooked and eat the catch on a deserted island very cool stuff

I highly recommend mayo very underrated

Well Joe, Im Just back from Legoland in Windsor, England. Had 3 kids aged 9, 6 and 4. All had a great time (including the big kids !) 3 days is plenty of time to spend there. Would recommend it. You should google it and see what you think. Kids ages would be perfect if their into lego at all

We're heading to Legoland next month with 4 boys age from 10 to 3 so should be good.
France is excellent too ,the campsites are great for children ,loads to do,weather usually very nice.
Of course nothing beats Ireland when the weather is good.

Thoroughly enjoyed trabolgan last year lots to do inside park and surrounding areas
Leterkenny is great loads for the kids and hotels with pools are reasonable
Going to Disney Paris this year hopefully it lives up to the hype

 cheers lads . looked into legoland as the 2 older ones would love it but the little lad is a bit small so its probley there next year . went to drayton manor park there 2 years ago to thomas land and they loved it.
trabolgan looks like great crack for kids are there any other places like that in ireland that are worth going to

It's just too expensive to holiday here.

Friends of ours went to a camp on donegal last year for 5 days... They went to a camp on France this year and it cost less and they got 2 days extra..

Depending on the age of the kids and if they would enjoy it or not, we used to go to euro Disney and it would usually cost about 1800 for flights, accommodation, park tickets... And we would usually use about 1k-1200 spending... Mainly because you are eating out 100% of the time so you will spend 150-200 a day on food..
That would be for 4 days and 3 nights.. It's a lot for that duration but the experience for children if the correct age can't be beaten.

I'm just back from Liverpool and we went to Alton towers for a day trip,we had a 10 year old and a 6 year old and they thought it was great.iv been to disney Paris several times and Alton towers holds it's own
