yup an eclipse. coupe version of tyrese gibsons car in 2 fast 2 furious and just as tasteless
[/quote]

I had a 2000' Eclipse GT with the 3.0L back in 2002-2004, Tyrese's was a 2003/2004 model. It was nearly new when I bought it and a great car, but turned into quite a chicks car a few years after I bought it, all the 18-20 year old girls going to college were getting them, they became NEARLY as 'chick-car' as the VW Beetle! These were all FWD from the factory, but most were automatics.. bleh!
The 'sporty' model was a 2.0L with a tiptronic gearbox and was slow as hell
The GT only came with the 3.0L and USUALLY with an automatic, but mine was a 5spd. A shame it was only 210HP. (2001 and following it was dumbed down to 200HP... because that's logical...)

My friend had quite a bit of money and had a 2003 Evo, when we lined up, it was like I was driving a Micra, my then upgraded to 230 horses felt like a WAY bigger deficit than 60 horses...

Mine was a lot like this, but I put the 2003 bumper on it (had better fog-lights)

There have been a few people swapping *with much fab-work* an Evo driveline or Evo engine... Theyre much better cars then, but still very heavy!

The abortion above was the next model that came out in 2005, it was FWD as well, but instead of the 3.0L they slapped a 4.2L V6 in those. They were FAST in a straight line, but under throttle had ridiculous levels of torque steer! Mine had a bit with the 3.0L.
