How'ya Lads
just been onto the above about a car i'v had since before the declare of the road rule came into effect.
My question: How do I get around the back tax thing.
The lady in there was helpful she said put it somebody else's name but they would have to insure it to tax it.
GRRRR... any help or advice much appreciated.

Done that a couple of times alright when had a car off the road, but kept tax up because was trying to sell it or because changed insurance between "summer" and "winter" car. Never any issue... if you're squeamish about putting down insurance policy number of another car you can always do a temp insurance transfer (for a day say) - then all above board and nobody can say anything.
 
They dont check insurance details so work away with any policy number from any insurance company, done it before also, no problems
