Great to see the Wrx and Sti models back on Subaru.com

I dont think we will see them here man the boxer configuration engine was never the most efficient and never paticularly clean not sure what the tax on the wrx would be here but recon the sti will be around 2600 per year on our poxy co2 based system (we have the green party to thank for that)

The new model golf Gti with performance pack (230 bhp)
Tax 280 euro thats what the wrx has gotta deal with

Having said that that new wrx engine is fantastic spec and would make a savage every day car but im really disappointed Subaru stuck with the old tec 2.5 sti motor and essentially dropped it into the new model think it would have made alot more sence tuning up the new tec 2.0 flat 4 but it probably comes down to the cost factor and the 2.0 has equal length headers which is crap (no flat 4 burble)

However id say this is end of line for the 2.5 and next sti will have the wrx motor tuned up from its 270 bhp output
