So had one of the audi guys in work ask me what kind of setup do you need to be running say for a decent 500/500 setup. Something that can be reliable and daily driver on 95 juice :) Im just curious not saying thats what i want to do, is there such a thing as a 500bhp daily driver Subaru!?
2.0, 2.1. 2.35 etc? What turbo, what fueling etc, CDB, 14mm studs etc would be interesting to know what is required to get a bullet proof 500bp car.

Put your proposed setups here and approx costs for achieving this goal. :goodpost:
 
Engine spec would be easy enough IMO, not cheap though

Forged 2.5 with a garret gt30 turbo

Multi layer steel head gasket
1000cc injectors
Cdb
Clutch??
Cooling would have to be a front mounted intercooler
Box would be an issue

would you need a front mount though? i thought the 6 speed boxes were fairly bullet proof. what power levels do they become a problem at?
