Beetle (scooby powered!)

Sunday Drivers
Saw a couple of old threads on here about subaru engined beetles, so I said I'd stick a vid and a few pictures of my brothers car. Its a '64 swing axel beetle, with a forester 2.0 turbo. Gearbox is an uprated beetle one, with an adapter plate to suit. He made up a jig and made a double wishbone front axel with disc brakes, and a mk2 escort quickrack. Still alot of work to do on it, but its going good now.
Heres a video from pallas karting track today at ballinasloe vintage club trackday. http://youtu.be/w_nUmGcv140

I was at the octane track day about two years ago when this made its maiden voyage

It sounded great and was very quick, it was a really well finished car

A tis a funny yolk alright. Had kinda forgot about posting this thread.
