Started the ka on a diet today's removing the lock barrel, lock mechanism and cutting away all unwanted metal from the boot door then I fitted two straps to keep the door closed, next up is the six point roll cage which I have started to make ????

jesus dec if urself and adrian keep stripping the cars like ye are u'll only be left with something resembling an aerial atom
 
Not a bad plan!!! I figure it's a lot easier for the ka to loose weight than it is for me kieran ???? ???? ????

I wont be taking the ka out again until the japfest time attack round or Isdc trackday in October I have some work to do to it before then as my goal is a sub 150 bhp car that can lap in under 2,05 my list is !!!
1. fit the roll cage
2.remove all unnecessary weight mostly spare metal !!!
3.cut the front shock turrets out and custom fabricate caster and camber adjustable plates for it so I can run +6-+8 degrees caster and reduce camber to help with braking and wheel spin out of turns
4.cams and a remap
5.new 4-2-1 manifold
6.poly bush the rear axle
 
lol ye joe that's basically it and also that Adrian dunne fella is getting horrid close to the ka's best time.we cant be having that so development must continue .p.s. im not competitive really lol
