my pu-ka project

Great work dec that’s a nice lump in the car now nice to have the knowledge to do it to.
Could you enter this car in a particular racing class similar to what Adrain does or would it only be a weekend track toy

Ye I could do future classics or itcc with some small upgrades to safety equipment, budget is an issue with racing though

Have to had it to you Dec, you don't do things by half.

It's going to be quick!

your like a little mad scientist with that KA . it has to be one of a kind at this stage with all the modding done to it and the colour scheme is cool aswell . fair play to be able to do it all yourself . tis a credit to ye . id say she will embarriss many a bigger car when on track .

well in ted :54:

Cheers man I love it to be honest it's very unique as a track car. The whole reason I picked the ka as a project was that I knew it could be a great track car they handle great standard and the only thing it has ever lacked is power, this should fix that issue [emoji6]
I'm hoping for 180bhp that should get me 240 bhp/ton

Haven't updated this in a while as I have been a lazy c**t over the winter but thanks to Adrian giving me the kick I needed I got back at it with his help and started into the wiring.
When I removed the puma engine I decided not keep any of the wiring in the car and to build a complete new loom so
With Adrians help we have the engine bay loom sorted and now I'm going to be making a start on the interior loom fuse box etc.

Great work  go orange with the wheels I know it doesn't matter as it's a track car but they look cool in orange :thumbsup:

Got a good run at more wiring today and now have the engine bay loom fully wrapped and I made small securing brackets to limit vibration on the loom installed a heavy duty relay for the cooling fan. Ran the starter wires and fitted the main distribution block for the battery cables. I then made the fuse box for the interior and wired some of the relays. Last job was to mount the ecu securely which is also now complete.
When I get more time I can complete the wiring and hopefully it fires up. I'll keep ye posted [emoji106] DSC_1928.jpegDSC_1929.jpegDSC_1930.jpegDSC_1931.jpegDSC_1933.jpegDSC_1934.jpeg
