Cruise is disabled automatically for any engine fault , so the problem is probably not the cruise but some
other engine or transmission related fault . Only way to know is to visit a dealer or someone with a scan tool
wonder can the fault codes be read the same as imprezas and legacys ? by counting the long and short flashes when the 2 conectors are plugged together under the dash ?
get a pic of the car up , not many outbacks on the forum !
