Hi Lads,
front side light bulb is gone on my legacy,
went about taking it out today and found
a double contact double film bulb, 12v 35w/5w in it :ponder:
It also had a cap on the top, looks like its to stop the heat from
comming out the top of the bulb  see picture,
anyway is it the right one? & where can i get them? cant see them on ebay,
why is it double film?
Thanks

Same as mine , swapped them for brake/tail lights ( still cant source proper ones ). Plenty of bright LED ones on EBAY. Just look up stop/tail light bulbs and match the connectors. If you can find originals, please let me know. Cheers.

Any motor factors will have standard replacements for a couple of euro, you don't need the white cap part of it, a standard bulb will do fine.

You can get led replacements on ebay but no matter what you do, they will appear blue inside the lamp. I had a set in mine and ended up going back to standard after the nct failed me on them.

Thanks for the replys lads,
yea i have some 21/5w here, why are they 21w & 5w
do they shine brighter when the headlights are on?
@ Blitzendave if i find originals ill let you know
would you let me know how you get on with the ones in the link please
@ sweetcakes I was reading one of the other threads in "what lights"
and the lads mention that they look blue,
anyhow i'll go ordinary stop and tail for now
Thanks

Might look like that from the pic's
but its definitely a cap/coating of some kind.
Just me thinking but because the bulb is put in from the bottom and standing
up i was thinking the coating on the bulb was to stop the heat
from damaging the headlight?
