No it is different brand. Got very good reviews so gave it green light. No problem at all for over 1k km but yesterday at some point engine didn't respond properly for accelerator then lot of hesitation and at the end stalled completely. Pump sounded rough when turn ignition on.

First thought was Coil pack or spar plug but CEL showed up and error p1230 pop up. Fuel pump - electrical.

Got pump from classic STi ra from my friend so installed It and drive no problem.

HRC one have 2 yr warranty so will sort it but my only question would be if it is actual pum or my fuel management just said NO NO to 340lph without proper regulator or map. I know ECU should be able to manage this but there is always BUT.
 
Changed the pollen filter in the car today. Before & after. Was obviously never changed before.

seen much worse than that over the years also depends on where it lived
smog ?
parked under a tree?
many variables
id say was maybe missed once not too bad and very common
should get nice air now and clear windscreen quicker :thumbsup:
 
Installed the front strut brace on the car this evening.

Moved all my members year stickers to the rear drivers side (in my blind spot) as they were building up on the front and were obstructing what was left of my viewing area.

Standard ones order a bottom 1 aswell and change both and it will go aswell save yourself the hassle of doing it twice:thumbsup:
 
Lads be careful as to what hose kits you buy I got cheap set for the type r broke my heart wouldn't seal clips cut the hose because had to tighten them so much to make them seal.
Binned them and got a samco set fit perfectly first time no issues
