Went to finish off my new grille and rad cover. Popped the bushing out of one of the old rad brackets to use on Mishimoto ones and I stupidly did it over the engine. It popped and flew down on the under tray. After grabbing a jack and shoving my hand in there, no luck.

Quick trip to local tyre shop, got on a lift in between customers. Thankfully it was there. Popped in new bracket, tightened everything up and Bob was certainly my uncle.

Went for a spin and got it washed for tomorrows Caffeine & Octane event to smarten it up a bit. It was caked in dust and grime from the recent dry spell. The new grille looks better every time I look at it. Have badges and stickers coming from Japan to suit it so just playing a waiting game.

Done few small bits today..cleaned out the boost solenoid, cleaned up few vacuum hoses and stuff from the engine bay and checked connections and stuff, took out washer bottle and few other bits and cleaned them up. Changed liquids except for oil.
Car slowly coming to the standard I'd be happy with.
Still have to do diff oils yet..

Few bits I ordered have arrived. Just waiting on the gauge pod to install the gauges and the rest.
    She'll be fairly good then.

Didn't manage to grab any pics..slipped my mind with the heat 😂😂

Yeah looks a bit bare. Theres a 'Syms' badge to go where the 'STI' one goes. This is what it will look like:

Casualty of of the storm last night. Timber fence hit it and set the alarm off. Body is fine but the wheel got a good hit. The force splintered the wood on the gate.

You've no luck with those wheels. You need to sell them. I'll give you €50 ;)
