Mapping in September

I'm out - engine failure.

1. scoobycolm. my00 type uk turbo ecutek tweak
2. Forester Sti (Dan) '06 Forester Sti ecutek tweak I'll remove my name from Scooby Ireland list!
3. Nic Spec C - Simtek tweak
4.coopster my05 forester ecutek tweak - date depending if its the weekend 11th or 12th sept thats a go thumb
5.
6.marek-irl - simtek tweak , If I'll return from vacation
7. keith555 - v3 uk turbo - simtek tweak - date depending
8.larsti8- v4 type r, full simtek .antilag and launch setup
9. Jackswagon, v6 classic. Simtek tweak. Date depending on if its 11th or 12th sep as away untill then.
10. hiwd, V4 classic. Apexi Power FC map

Whats the story with mapping a 95 wrx? Is it possible? What would be the best bet? I know the car is already mapped for regular unleaded. Also i heard that it should be remapped when putting a induction kit on. This true?

ideally it should be mapped for induction kit, they are not find on 95ron fuel if that's what you mean by regular unleaded but I would also be happy to check it as is with detcans and wideband to check if it is safe.

ESL Daughter board
SimTek

or find a secondhand Apexi PowerFC..

solaris has been renamed syvecs www.syvecs.co.uk

Basically the simtek is very good, syvecs is the best there is, budget needs to then dictate which suits you.

Both quick processors and map defintion is high so you get a very smooth and responsive car.
Both map based so not using the maf sensor anymore.
Simtek has 2 maps, Syvecs upto 8 maps.
Syvecs has internal data logging..

can the SimTek tweaks (not you Nick Spec C or Marek as I have it already) get the ecu number off the ecu board please it will be E1S.YY.XXXX where YY is the year of ecu (ie. 96 for 93 to 96, 97 for 97 and 98, 99 for 99 and 00 and 2K for 01 onwards) and XXXX is the serial number of that ecu.
