A lot of lads have done it through STi tuning and have had good results where coupled with a new exchaust and Panel filter but I think if your car is standard and you plan on keeping it that where that running it on E5 with Octain boost would be fine.
But as with all subarus if you mod it you are better off getting it mapped to see the full potential of your mods and for peace of mind.

Just had a look at your car there mate.
"Kakimoto Racing Exhaust, Apexi Power Intake."
In my opinion you would need a map alright.
But before you do have a look to see if your ECU is aftermarket if so contact STi tuning or Street proformance to see what the limits of the ECU are and wheather there mapable in this country. Standard one can be Ecutek mapped I think but so aftermarket ones cann't be done here due to not have software.
