Iv seen loads of hype about these HID's. Can someone explain what they are, are they just bulbs or do you need to do al full head light conversion to take these special bulbs? Iv also seen this PIAA word around. Whats the diffrence between the two?

you use your factor headlight fittings but the bulb is different. There is also things called a relay and ballast boxes that are in a HID (High Intensity Discharge) kit too. Basically its bright light from the headlights.

PIAA is just a make of bulb. Better than the normal H4 you can by like a Halfords own brand.

HID Conversion Kits provide more than 300 percent the amount of light of a Halogen bulb. The clear white light produced by HID Conversion Kits is similar to daylight. The Xenon Bulb is a micro-discharge bulb filled with a mixture of noble gases including Xenon, and its life time of the bulb is equal to that of the car. The bulb has no filaments and the light arc is created by two electrodes, giving it a wider range of illumination. These Systems are modified for specific vehicle applications and fit directly into your existing headlights.

When shopping for an Square Hid Conversion Kit, it is important to remember to know what type of HID Kit your car requires, in other words: what type of bulb.On impreza H4

HID Conversion Systems:

More light output: A 35W HID light source produces up to 3x the lumens at the light source when compared to a 55W halogen bulbs.

Pure Sunlight: The color temperature of HID lighting is more closely linked to the color temperature of natural daylight. Halogen lights appear yellowish.

Longer Life: HID lamps will last on the average over 3 times longer than any halogen bulb, HID bulbs also produce less heat than halogen, so you don't have to worry about your headlight or harnesses melting.
