clutch trouble with 02 B4 legacy

well chaps.... im having trouble with my clutch in my 02 B4 legacy, everytime i bring her up to 3000rpm she revs up on her own to 4500rpm as if i have my feet on both the accelerator and the clutch at the same time, any suggestions on whats wrong...... please dont say i need a new clutch :icon_cry: :icon_cry:
 
yup ya need a clutch. Thats it slipping when you look for power. Throw a new one in and all will be well. Welcome by the way!
 
Welcome along mate, unfortunately as the lads said its 99% the clutch. Check out the traders on here, some of them will look after ya
 
Sorry mate, I had exactly the same issue on mine.

On mine there was:
- crankshaft gasket gone (Oil in the clutch housing)
- clutch disc worn to the minimum.

I guess it will cost you roughly 800.- to 900.- yoyos :icon_cry: :wall:

Defo new clutch needed, same happened with mine! Dave in Sti Tuning sorted it for a very resonable price :thumbsup:
Its a pain in the goolies not being able to get the power down...and it will probably get real bad real quick...well mine did anyway!
