Just been reading Neil P1's introduction there and in his Specs he says he has twisted up pipes and down pipes. I dont really know much about up/downpipes. Whats the difference between twisted pipes and regular pipes? Or is there a difference?

Would twisted pipes be of any gain to you?

Becauseof the size of the turbo it does not have room till fit in the normal way so it has to be rotated which is when you need a twisted up and downpipe

Up untill recently, if you wonted any thing over 450bhp you would have to go for a twisted turbo, as Neil says the turbo you would have needed to get that kind of power would not sit in the standard position, A typical GT30 or bigger would be too big for standard position,
Recently there are a few turbos that fit in the standard position that will make 530bhp so unless you are looking for more than that, there would be no need to go to the expence of a twisted up/down pipe setup!
@ Neil, Welcome!
Dan
