Need a bit of help lads and ladies. Have just been out to a customers B4. Poor guy only picked it up fron a dealers yesterday and it died on the way home. its showing codes 31 and 11-throttle pos sensor and crank pos sensor-but it seems like the starter has also either stuck or failed so i cant clear the codes and drive it just yet to see if they return. He also told me the car seems sluggish and i found that theres a short pipe missing off the top of the actuator on the primary turbo-i imagine this would cause the car to bleed some boost?

If it was a Jap specialist dealer, a lot of them won't give warranty so as soon as you drive out the gate your on your own.
I think i read somewhere before that even without warranty you can bring cars back within a certain timescale and they have to be looked at.

I'm sure your right. I think Ash would be able to fill you in on that type of thing. Didn't she have a problem like this when she got her first STi.

I thought any dealer was required to give a 3-month warranty minimum?

AFAIK your still entitled to one of the 3 r's, refund, repair or replacement. Just like buying a phone for example... Just because its a car doesn't mean your not entitled to it. It only had it for a day for fecks sake. Straight back to the dealer with it.
