lads have a version 2 sti with version 6 front bumper and new shape lights bought the version6 grill the black honeycomb one to complete the look. Problem is i have an old shape bonnet and the bonnet release will not work with the new grill has anyone ever had this problem is there any other way around buying the new shape bonnet? ? Can i modify the grill in some way to make it fit i have seen a few grills that look like the black plastic in the middle was cut away and replaced with mesh?
