power fc for b4?

hey lads, hope all is well,
just wondering about a power fc for a 00 legacy b4, anybody have any experence with these, a friend of mine bought a v6 sti coupe this weekend in kildare and there is a power fc in it, mapped to irish fuel and all othermods on the imprezawas just wondering about one for the legacy as its either buy a power fc or get it maped.
are they easy use?
can the VOD be reduced with it?
will i have to take it to a mapper to put a bace map on it?
