Im half tempted to change my '96 GT-B for a '00 B4. More for the fact I think mine is a little old and possible wont get too long more out of it. Spotted a nice one and took it for a drive today. Was absoloutly shocked with the difference in power. Either my gt-b is in terrible state altogether, or these two cars are a lot more different than I thought.
Has anyone driven both? Should there really be a huge difference in power? I know the estate is a lot heavier and mine is 4 years older but I was quite astonised. Oh, should mention mine is Auto - this was manual and I think it had an induction kit fitted - i have no mods at all.
If I thought mine is right - ie it should be that much lower in power I'd nearly hang on to my own, but if its a sign something is very wrong it might be time to change..
