Following last years huge success we are running again on 31/08/2008 another tribute meet and convoy.
This year the run begins in Magherafelt again from Aughrim Filling Station and follows a new route encompassing and old stage of the Ulster rally and includes Ballyronan, Desertmartin, Draperstown, Cookstown, Dungannon with the finish being a parade lap of Nutts Corner provided by SWRC who are running a track day on the same date. There will be roadbooks available for the whole route as a few guys got lost last year! There is a nominal charge for the entry pack (which is not compulsory but all profits will go to the Keepbabykatieawake charity fund) of £10 for which you will recieve 1. roadbook 2. McCrae sticker and 3. a free entry into a draw to include a genuine Coiln McCrea signed racesuit from the Lanark rally 1999, and a signed Solberg/Cris Atkinson Subaru cap (donated by www.scoobyireland.com and Carsport magazine). Draw tickets are available separately @£5 on the day. Remember folks this is going to a worthy cause.There are further items I'm sure that will be donated for the draw.
Although there will be a prominent Subaru attendance all makes and models are very welcome to pay tribute.
Full permissions are currently being sought from the relevant sources and I must stress that this will be a fully road legal event obeying all speed limits etc and no "wrecking" will be tolerated. Its all about respect folks.
