Advice Needed

Hey Lads,
The last of the parts for my engine rebuild should be with me by wednesday but now I need to get everything up to Lisburn.
The engine is out of my car but now I just need a way of gettin it up there. Have any of you ever transported one anywhere? I have no access to a van and the only car in the house is a saloon Almera.
Any ideas?? :dunno:

well shane have you had any luck with gettin your engine moved yet

why not just rent a van for the day,argus car hire ,merlin car hire, hertz etc ?

Cos Van is about e120 incl VAT a day. And That price is on your own insurance. About e160 + on their insurance. Plus Diesel Up and back your lookin at e210 +.

The engine and rebuild kit are going up on Sat but the guy in Oz Land left me short all the piston rings!!
Just means the build will be delayed till the next available slot in ECC's book. A straight forward rebuild takes them a full day then add what ever machineing needs to be done. So I'd be hogging their top/main mechanic for 1.5 days which is a bit much when they havent got me booked in.
Might not be done till after Christmas now!!
