starter location ??

well folks the joys of it no sooner do i get the new wheels then the starter packs in, the quick version is I brought her to the main scooby "dealer" here to get the rear camber bolt fixed and the starter looked at 3 days later and 100 notes lighter was told it was like looking for a needle in a haystack but they did fix a nasty rattle on the heat sheild brought her to a highly recomended mechanic who said straight away its the starter, got a starter today so

where does it go on a 98 gc8 model, is it under the intercooler is an easy enough fix to do myself, help please missed the last charity drive because of car problems dont want to miss this one

Yep look under the intercooler on the passenger side,you should see it no prob.
Do remove the top mount first though....
