Sub chugging at low revs

I have a 2003 sti with pro drive pack with 21,000 miles.
When starting of to drive in low revs the car chugs but stops when you drive on further up the revs.
Anyone any suggestions what the proplem could be? Would this be common?

Sounds like the clutch mate, I had a similar prob on my WRX before the clutch went...
 
Might be the flywheel, could need to be skimmed, sometimes happens to me when going from a standing start, but it only happens when I drive if the car is cold and even then its rare but has been that way since i bought the car a year ago.
 
Can you tell me if it has a floating fly wheel?

No idea i'm afraid mate, i'm just passing on information i've received from other lads in the club.. Sorry bout that..
 
Could be many things.... MAF, Plugs, leads, fuel filter, injectors :dunno:

Is it only when you first start the car or is it the same all the time in low revs?

Good question. Not sure I'll check that out.
Don't drive it that often.
