well lads,just wondering did any of ye do a rebuild lately, i did the parts asap bcause need the car 4 xmas, i need/want the following for a 99 type r crank,race bearings,upgraded head gaskets,head bolts,race pistons,race clutch. any numbers for anyone that will have them parts in stock or soon at a good price. wud a 2.2 bottom end work with a standard ecu?if not wat other work would need to be done

2.2 would defo need remap. Odds on parts in and re-built by xmas cutting very very fine.

Standard STi heads gaskets are metal so fine. Bearings go with ACL Heavy duty main and big ends, ARP head bolts, Various choice forged pistons, Clutch wise recommend ap racing or exedy organic clutch. And lightweight exedy flywheel to go with it. PM me to discuss anything else. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

You have not said weather you already have the car mapped. If not she'll need it anyway........

Id take it he has standard ECU.

ok well need a remap no matter wat route chosen. 2.0l work on standard ecu til mapped.
