Are all wiper blades on Subaru's the silicone PIAA ones? Mine are and i need to get a new set, just want to know are these standard ie get new ones from Subaru or after market jobbie?
 
Local motor factors will have decent blades. No need to go to a main dealer .
 
No not all blades are PIAA. You can get them for a good price from Scoobyparts.
 
I got a set of Bosch Aerotwins from a German seller on eBay (i think the seller was NK-Handels or MK-Handels or something). They are arguably a better looking blade (they are a Euro-type effort that are seen OEM on newer cars) and perform very well. I'll post up the supplier or a link later on. Google Bosch Aerotwins to get an idea of the shape (might not be everyone's cup of tea), not sure who supplies them locally, if anyone but they were more reasonable from Germany than the UK.
 
I got a set in Donlans in Belfast last year.Great blades you could try Carroll + Roche. Both give discounts to club members
