winter and defective tyres

Sunday Drivers
hi lads just want to say that we hear of a load of rta's on the roads and there's more and more every day and these are just normal cars under these conditions. ie. rainfull and ice. i take it that most of us are driving higher spec cars.even if not don't take the risk in driving hard with less than 3 mm on your tyres. the law states that 1.6mm is o.k can i say that its not
any less than that will result in your braking distance's and chances of aqua plaining increased.
quote from the local rag!
car travelling home hit a puddle and aqua plained into a wall. driver in intesive care. the two passengers died. the out come was it was down to the tyres.
:headbanger:

or , maybe you own a tyre company and just happens that you want to frighten the sh1te out of us,so what specials have ye got?

sorry bout that now, just reading paper last night thought it was k*ck*d up. yes i do work with tyres and no,no specials.
